Trill Sammy - Left, Right (Official Music Video)

As a member of the millennial rapper generation that used social media to disseminate their music, Houston rapper Trill Sammy got his start while he was just a senior in high school. After publishing his brief freestyle with Born Stunna, "Netflix and Chill," in 2015, he quickly gained a following online and local admirers. The young Texan adopted an Atlanta trap style to draw attention to his hometown, sounding a lot like Lil Uzi Vert and Migos. Sammy's big break came in 2015 when she collaborated with fellow Houston rapper Dice Soho, the leader of the neighborhood Icey Gang clique, on the song "Just Watch." Sammy released "Check Out" in 2016, a song that samples laid-back trap from video games and has Auto-Tune and a Desiigner-like rhythm.

That same year saw the release of his debut EP, Red Album, which included Kirko Bangz and Slim Thug as well as Soulja Boy on the song "Trappin'." The summer after, he released the Trappin' EP, which featured the songs "Martin" and "Uber Everywhere." With Slim Jxmmi of Rae Sremmurd, he released the singles "Do Not Disturb" and "Feel Better" in 2018. His brand new visual for his latest release "Left, Right" shows that the houston rapper has been plotting and laying low but making so much new music that is still to come later in the year.
