Chicago megastar Saba has shared another single with us called “Stop That”. Saba is an artist who will really challenge you when you listen to his music, his impact on the city of Chicago and it’s hip-hop scene cannot be missed. This is the second single from his new album coming soon called Few Good Things. This will be his first full length release since his 2018 album CARE FOR ME. Saba took a few steps out of his comfort zone with this one. “Stop That” is about dealing with your insecurities and staying away from the uncomfortable moment. There are so many things Saba touched on in this song, detailing how true he is to himself and his artistry. My favorite line got to be when he says, “I turned a million down a million times”. As a listener, I want to hear that from an artist. I understand that many artists do it for the money, but the genuine creation of a track that will move a listener is worth more than all the money in the world. From the beginning I notice the production and delivery from Saba has slightly different waves, Saba was determined to get his message across and he did just that. The music video is filled with tidbits and short messages about what Few Good Things is going contain. The visual starts with Saba chilling in his Tesla and then giving us a tour of his home which looks like Los Angeles. I wish Saba would hit us with a potential album of the year candidate buzzer beater, but I guess I can wait a little longer. Few Good Things is shaping up to be another classic from Saba.
