Peso Pluma - "Bye" ( Official Music Video):

Peso Pluma, a 23-year-old rapper, singer, and composer from Guadalajara, Mexico, taught himself how to play the guitar when he was a youngster. He discovered music by accident and began writing songs based on notes he had made in his diary while drawing inspiration from local musicians like Ariel Camacho. After eventually signing with a modest label, Pluma put out a number of brief EPs in 2020 and 2021. But his success didn't come until 2022's "El Belicón," an acoustic trap ballad with Raul Vega that reflected on Guadalajara's drug culture. "El Belicón" served as Pluma's entry point into the world of corridos tumbados, a distinctive fusion of traditional Mexican music with contemporary trap anthems that was different from much of the music he had previously produced, which was more conventional and lyrically-driven tracks with narratives inspired by the nation's socio-political state. He also released a handful of tracks earlier this year, making him the first Mexican musician to hold the top slot on Spotify's Top Global charts.

On May 26, Peso Pluma released his most heartfelt, melancholy song ever, called "Bye." in which the dramatic music video to coincide with the song. Peso is seen struggling with a breakup in the music video, which was directed by Edgar Nito. Peso is shown in the opening scene operating a muscle automobile in a desolate setting. Later, we witness a woman in a vehicle closely behind him. She ultimately catches up to him despite his attempts to flee. While this is going on, additional images show him surrounded by ladies, notably lip-locking with Dania Mendez, a television personality and model, while sipping wine. He sings about ultimately saying goodbye to a former love at the same moment. He ultimately loses the female driver as he drives off toward the conclusion of the film, apparently as a metaphor for finally moving on from the ex-lover. This brand-new solo song comes after the artist's most recent joint effort, "77" with Eladio Carrión. Along with his popular solo work, he has recently released the songs "Por Las Noches" and "30 Tiros." Peso is scheduled to resume his Doble P Tour in Seattle, Washington, on June 8.
