It is always a celebration when Houston artist Paul the Kid shares new music and consistency is something that has driven this multi-talented rapper. He has released three projects in the past two years. After finishing his PTK1K series with EGO and DEATH, Paul the Kid is aiming for new heights and fresh sounds. “Forbidden Fruit (Demons!) is the first single from Paul the Kid’s upcoming project Graveyard Raps.
The “Forbidden Fruit (Demons!)” instrumental was handled by Chicago producer Zion O’ Sean. This high energy production has a synth that will inscribe itself into your brain. The synth begins eerily in the background and then elevates when the 808 kick comes in. Zion O’ Sean finds the perfect blend with none of the sounds colliding or overpowering each other. Paul the Kid sounds terrific over the production. In the past, we’ve heard him deliver with original timbres, entertaining vocal effects, and hard-hitting lyrics. On this track, Paul the Kid tries some new vocal inflections and effortlessly hits it out of the park.
