Metro Boomin, Don Toliver, Future - Too Many Nights (Official Video):

Following the success of his most recent album, Heroes & Villains, Metro Boomin is making it known that he has a lot more planned. A portion of his recent conversation with DJ Drama for the "The Streetz Iz Watching" podcast went viral over the weekend, and the superproducer from St. Louis hinted that he and Don Toliver would be releasing a joint album. Metro first acknowledged that he and Future planned to release a project before adding that he and "Don might" be working on a joint album when Drama questioned him if he was working on or wanted to collaborate on one. Metro and Toliver work together frequently. Metro featured the Houston singer on multiple songs on his current release, and all of them charted on the Billboard Hot 100: "Too Many Nights," featuring Future, premiered at No. 22; "Around Me," which also features Pluto, arrived at No. 53; and "I Can't Save You (Interlude)," which also involves Pluto, debuted at No. 55.

His third No. 1 album, Heroes & Villains, was released on December 2, 2022. In its first week, the 15-track project sold 185,000 album-equivalent units. It also set a record for the highest first-week sales for a non-rapping producer. With their first two solo albums, he became the first non-rapping producer to achieve No. 1 on the Billboard 200. There is no word on when Metro will formally announce the collaboration, but the last time fans got a solo project from the "Cardigan" rapper was in 2021, when he released Life of a Don.With nearly 65,000 album-equivalent units sold, the 16-track project debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200.
