Justoid and Shell Casing have been getting straight to business so far in 2022. Recently, Justoid performed at WeSixThirty’s Spring At SixThirty event. Then Justoid traveled out to Fort Wayne, Indiana to rock out as an opener for Toosi. This past weekend at ITS XITAL Sunset Showdown in Joliet, I was able to catch a Justoid performance for the first time. This artist brings an undeniable energy to the stage, he was able to connect directly with the crowd and create an entertaining stage presence. To match Justoid’s energy, Shell Casing has filmed and created a recap for all of these events.
The dynamic duo that is Justoid and Shell Casing are back with another outstanding visual. This time, Justoid taps frequent collaborator Davey Not David for a melodic jam titled “Broken Chrome Heart”. The song kicks off with a euphoric chorus from Davey Not David. Davey harmonizes over the guitar-lead track about how money may not fix your problems. Davey follows up with a short and sweet verse then passes it off to Justoid. “Now I’m on the path to greatness after that is perfection”, Justoid says confidently on this bouncy instrumental.
The music video was shot and edited by Shell Casing. The three traveled to Fort Wayne and captured some amazing shots at a carnival and Parkview baseball field. Shell Casing truly brings a new element to a song with his visuals. There are so many edits and transitions I’ve never seen before through the “Broken Chrome Hearts” music video.
