Florida native Jenevieve is back with a brand new release for her new music video called "Nxwhere," a tune off her 2021 debut album called "Division". The dreamy video, directed by Aus Taylor, is situated in the Mexican countryside and contributes to the bizarre atmosphere she conjures in her songs. Jenevieve searches for love in "Nxwhere" amid flaming sky and the watery kingdom of Atlantis. Expert producer Lophiile reworked the tune for the recently released deluxe version of "Division," amplifying the visual with pounding 808 beats, whistle synthesizers, and crooned harmonies. Jenevieve's honeyed vocals soar and swirl amid the soundscapes, announcing with equal hope and loneliness to her future lover: "If you had nowhere to go tonight, I'll meet you there."The bitter memories of first love take center stage on the velveteen, 2 Chainz-assisted "Baby Powder," Ghostface brings a visceral rawness to the hip-hop-indebted "Medallion," and "Against All Odds," a piano-trap rendition of Phil Collins' 1981 song of the same name. Jenevieve's newest, a student of R&B, pop, and soul, is a shapeshifting portrait of an artist exploring while putting herself raw in the process.
