“Came out bustin’”, Isaiah Rashad once said, and the rest is history. The House Is Burning is still the most prominent project in my rotation, and Isaiah just dropped off a dope visual for the second track off of the album “From The Garden”. This song really set the tone for the album and after my first listen I had no clue what to expect throughout. This is the collaboration I didn’t know that I needed, both Rashad and Uzi come with an undeniable energy and hilarious punchlines. The instrumental has engraved its way into my brain and I find myself constantly walking to the rhythm of the bass line. In the music video, Isaiah travels down the block while everyone is turning up, I love the overhead shot for his verses and I love how the saturation changes as he travels up the road. The seamless transition to black & white for Uzi’s verse was terrific and I don’t even know what to call the many edits throughout his verse but they’re so visually pleasing. The characters of Isaiah Rashad and Lil Uzi Vert shine in this video and this is one of the rare can’t miss videos for this year.
