Hailing from Church Village in Wales and now based in Cardiff, the group CVC has released a new song called "Sophie" from their debut album called "Get Real". The collective has had a successful year, releasing their EP Real to Reel and sharing the tracks "Docking the Pay," "Winston," and "Good Morning Vietnam," all of which will appear on the album.The band describes their newest single, "Sophie," as a "love letter to Nanial's wonderful girlfriend," adding that "the closest we ever got was the spoken-word intro she gave us for this tune." The song is about how she can sing, "the whole sing, and nothing but the sing," but won't sing in front of the band. Since the beginning of the summer, CVC has been actively touring, gaining a brand-new fan base that is both committed and enthusiastic.Their explosive performances have had spectators joyfully singing the band's name as they leave the stage, wowing on stages like Reading and Leeds, down to sold-out hometown dates in their native Wales. CVC live is something else, and everyone should go see them as soon as is practically possible, according to The Arts Desk, so they're not a band to miss.
