Prior to this date, I have never heard Cochise on a track but I might have a new addiction. On “Tell Em”, Cochise introduces himself with eccentric raps and sharp ad-libs while rapping over the perfect instrumental. He comes with a machine gun flow, Cochise rides perfectly over the bouncy production. The song is complimented by a strong verse from rising rapper $NOT who has quickly become one of my favorites also. Cochise is fresh off the release of his debut album last month titled Benbow Crescent. I would only assume this track piggybacks off the sound that Cochise delivered on his debut since it was originally supposed to be on the album. The song leaked and blew up on Tik Tok, both rappers trolled that it wouldn’t get released but here we are. Shout out to Cole Bennett and Lyrical Lemonade for getting this video out so quickly. The three truly made magic as the visual is terrific and entertaining as ever. You see Cochise’s and $NOT’s personality shine when the lens is on. Cochise just hopped on the scene but I only see his momentum building up and him blowing up soon. I'm guaranteeing to get in-tune and you should also. Check out the visual for “Tell Em” below.
