R&B artist Baby Rose, who is based in Atlanta, released her album To Myself three years ago, and it made a strong impression largely because of her audacious voice. With the release of her latest song, "I Won't Tell," featuring Smino, she is back in the game.Her captivating vocals are infused into a lovely soundscape.She released a heist-themed music video along with the single and announced the release of her upcoming album Through and Through in April.
Instead of a typical R&B video, Baby Rose delivers us a drama setting theme all throughout the video, she is robbing storefronts by herself, but her girl gang appears to provide some extra muscle.There's one scene in particular that stands out: when she's determined to rob a store owner at gunpoint while a young-ish girl who could've been Rose looks on. She runs back to her limo, heartbroken, empty-handed. This is an interesting lead-in to the album's other track, "Paranoid."This song is just as captivating as "I Won't Tell."
