The follow-up to 2018's Platinum Fire has Arin Ray ready and loaded. After releasing a new single in April, the rising vocalist regains momentum with "Gold," a track that features Los Hendrix (Givon, SZA) and Camper (Mary J. Blige, Brandy) as producers. This new track "Gold" sees Ray on a mission to reclaim his place in front of the woman who made him pay for her time and attention. Ray's gorgeous falsetto is guaranteed to make her give him what he wants, in and out of the bedroom, mesmerized by this special lady's sexy sparkling armor. Ray fleshes out the gorgeous message of “Gold” in the official video co-directed by Whipalo. Ray returned in April after a three-year absence with "The Mood," a single featuring D. Smoke. The bedroom hymn has received around 294,000 Spotify streams since its premiere. There's still no news on whether "The Mood" will be the lead single from his unannounced sophomore album.Ray's second full-length album, Phase II, will be released through Interscope Records. Kehlani had a cameo appearance on the album's first song, "Change," which was released in late 2019.
